Murder near Breakfast Shed

A man identified as Ian Stanley was gunned down on Wrightson Road, Port of Spain on Saturday.

Stanley was said to be in his vehicle on Independence Square West and Wrightson Road, in the vicinity of the Breakfast Shed, when he was fired upon.

Reports state that Stanley tried to drive off in a bid to escape, but was hit several times and his vehicle crashed into the pavement.
He died on the spot.

Police are investigating.
