Covid-19 cases have dropped considerably in TT.
The latest release from the Health Ministry shows the lowest weekly number of COVID-19 cases and deaths for the year to date.
Over the past week, 93 cases have been reported while 2 people have succumbed to the disease.
The deceased included one elderly man and one middle-aged man, both of whom had multiple comorbidities.
Meanwhile, overall hospitalizations have decreased, with 37 patients warded, two of whom are in the high-dependency unit and none in the ICU.
However, with five COVID-19-positive patients in the Scarborough Regional Hospital, Tobago has the highest number of warded COVID-19 patients for the year to date.
