A PH taxi driver who was reported missing by his family on Monday, 15th January 2024, was found nursing stab wounds after he was robbed of his vehicle and left for dead.
The victim identified as Lessen Alexander also known as Leslie of Cocoyea Village, was found under the Silver Stream bridge in Rousillac along the Point Fortin Highway around 1pm on Tuesday.
Alexander’s sister and other persons were searching for him when she reportedly received a call on his location.
They then went to the location along with officers of the La Romain Police Post and the Oropouche Station and retrieved the injured man.
The officers also went in search of the stolen vehicle which they recovered in La Romain.
