Five people were shot in Malick, Barataria last evening.
According to reports of the five persons involved two have been injured and two are dead.
The mass shooting took place just after 5.30p.m at the corner of 6th Avenue and 10th Street West, Upper Malick, Barataria.
A few friends were liming on the roadside when a car pulled up and two gunmen approached the group then began firing.
The victims have been identified as Anthony St Vincent, 49, who is in stable condition, Raquel Andrews and Kamine Naitram who are receiving medical treatment.
Meanwhile Anthony Seargent was pronounced died on arrival and Kunta Andrews, 39, also died.
