Martin Lum Kin Elected New TTUTA President

The new President of the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association is Martin Lum Kin.

Mr Lum Kin got 3,585 votes coming out of TTUTA’s internal elections held on Tuesday.

Out-going President, Antonia De Freitas, received 3,535 votes.

Marsha Huggins was elected Second Vice President with 3,600 votes.

Natasha Baran-Ramtahal acquired 2,696 votes and will assume duties as Third Vice President of the teachers union.

Cuthbert Joseph will take on the role of Treasurer, having received 4,174 votes.
