Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) officers arrested a 23-year-old man, after they seized a quantity of marijuana and a sum of cash at his home during a warrant exercise on Tuesday 24th October, 2023.
Around 4 am yesterday officers went to the Quarry Road, East Dry River, Port of Spain home of a suspect to execute a search warrant. When officers searched the premises, they found and seized 363.5 grams of marijuana and $27,492 in cash.
The officers arrested the suspect, who was conveyed to the Besson Street Police Station along with the seized items. He was subsequently charged with Possession of Cannabis.
Officers of the Financial Investigations Bureau (FIB) are conducting investigations with respect to the cash seized.
