A 24-year-old man is warded in a serious condition at hospital after he was chopped at his Manzanilla.
The victim was asleep at his Plum Road home around 2:15 am on Monday, when he was awakened by a strange noise.
He then observed two men he did not know inside his bedroom, both armed with cutlasses.
A struggle ensued, during which the victim was beaten and chopped repeatedly.
The suspects then fled the scene.
