Man’s body found wrapped in plastic in South Oropouche

The body of a man of African descent was found wrapped in plastic in South Oropouche on Tuesday afternoon.

Just before 6pm, police said they received a call of a body on the south bound lane of the Solomon Hochoy highway extension in South Oropouche.

Upon investigating, officers discovered the body wrapped in clear plastic.

No word yet on the identity of the body, or if there were marks of violence.
However, police believe the man to be in his 40’s. The victim is slim built, with a brown complexion and approximately five feet, ten inches tall.

The body was sent to the Forensic Science Centre in St James.
