The security officer who was shot within the vicinity of Carapichaima East Secondary School has died.
Malesha Motilal, 46, who was a corporal at National Maintenance and Training Security Services (MTS) succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday December 6th after being shot in the eye by a lone gunman.
Motilal was shot just after 5am on Friday December 2nd just after 5 am last Friday while on her way to work at the school.
Investigations into her shooting are ongoing.
