A man was shot and killed in his vehicle on Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Malique Matthews.
Police reported that around 2:30 am yesterday, officers responded to a report of loud explosions from the command centre at Eastern Main Road in the vicinity of Carib Brewery.
On arrival, they saw a dark grey Nissan Tiida parked along the road and Matthews slumped behind the steering wheel. He was shot multiple times about the body.
Preliminary investigations revealed two men were seen running west along the road and then north onto Industry Lane Mt Hope.
Investigations are ongoing.
