A 28-year-old man was ambushed and killed in Freeport on Tuesday night.
Adrian Nyack of Roy Clarke Trace, Calcutta Road #2, Freeport, and 15th Street, Edinburgh 500, Chaguanas, had just left a bar on the Southern Main Road, St Mary’s, Freeport, around 10:15pm, and was walking towards his Nissan Xtrail vehicle, when he was ambushed by two men.
The suspects shot him several times before fleeing the scene.
He was rushed to the Couva Health Facility where he succumbed to his injuries at 11:29pm.
Police said Nyack was a known offender who also went by the nickname, ‘Popcorn.’
