A man identified as Kester Reid was shot dead in St Augustine on Tuesday afternoon.
Reid, from Five Rivers, Arouca, was at Terminal Service Centre car business on Evans Street, St Augustine, near Sforzata panyard at 2.35 pm when he was approached by a gunman who shot him several times.
The gunman then walked over Reid’s body, shooting him again, before running away.
Passers-by called the police and officers from the North-Central Division Task Force and the St Joseph CID visited the scene with a district medical officer, who declared Reid dead.
Police said Reid was not known to them and did not have any criminal record.
