Man allegedly committed suicide after he was reported for sexually assaulting his daughter

A father allegedly committed suicide after he reportedly raped his daughter.

According to reports, the 19-year-old teenager reported to the Central Police Division that her 49-year-old father from Central Trinidad allegedly raped her on Saturday December 3rd.

The teen claimed that her father entered her bedroom just after 12:30am and sex sexually assaulted her.

After the incident was reported to the police, the man committed suicide on Monday December 12.

Investigations are ongoing.
