UNC MP Khadijah Ameen says counsellors have been put in a very precarious position.
And she says this is all due to mismanagement by the PNM Government.
She made the comment during her contributions to the Budget Debate on Tuesday in Parliament.
She explained that this is due to the new law.
She said Finance Minister Colm Imbert alluded to the situation during his presentation of the Budget on Monday.
She went on to explain that counselors would have resign from their present jobs because of new law or resign as a counselor.
