RIC To Reveal Position On TATEC Rate Review Next Week

The public will know next week the Regulated Industries Commission’s position on a rate review for the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission.

Minister of Public Utilities, Marvin Gonzales, informed the parliament during the Budget Debate , the RIC has completed its rate view exercise for TATEC.

Mr Gonzales said he was informed of the situation by the RIC Wednesday.

However, the population will get more details on the development next week.

Media reports say the last rate review conducted for T&TEC was in 2006 and every five years the RIC can conduct rate reviews for TATEC and WASA.
