Lionel Messi scores AGAIN – Inter Miami undefeated since his arrival | WATCH

Lionel Messi made it 7 goals in 4 games to help Inter Miami seal a dramatic comeback victory against FC Dallas in Leagues Cup yesterday.

FC Dallas led 4-2 with 10 minutes left but two late goals, including a Messi masterclass freekick, took the game to a penalty shootout.

Miami were winless in 11 games before Messi’s arrival but have now won four in a row.

Messi opened the scoring for Inter Miami after just six minutes with a low curling shot from outside the penalty area but Dallas responded with 3 goals.

Miami reduced the deficit by 1 goal but an own goal by Robert Taylor restored Dallas’ 2 goal cushion.

Dallas’ Marco Farfan then headed a Messi freekick into his own net to give Miami hope and messi then completed the turnaround with a stunning free-kick to level the match with 5 minutes to go.

The game went to penalties and Messi set the pace for his team, scoring Miami’s first from the spot as Paxton Pomykal’s miss for Dallas proved costly.

Inter Miami are the first club to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the Leagues Cup which involves teams from MLS and Mexico’s Liga MX competing in a knockout tournament.
