The Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers’ Association is urging parents and guardians to ensure their children attend the Ministry of Education’s Vacation Revision Program.
The venture is aimed at helping those who were disadvantaged with a learning loss as a result of the physical closure of schools.
The Ministry of Education has said nine thousand students from primary and secondary schools are expected to benefit from the programme.
In an interview with Power 102 Digital on Thursday, TTUTA President, Antonia De Freitas, said in spite of the various challenges posed to students, education continues to be a key element in their lives and opportunities to excel should be utilised.
