Lessons should be learnt from the factors which cause pathogens to come out from animal to human population and action taken to
address it.
It’s an assessment from Virologist Professor, Christopher Oura, while speaking on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital on
Tuesday.
Professor Oura was at the time reflecting on COVID-19, increasing population and the implication which can arise from such development.
The virologist said human activities such as deforestation can contribute to the spread of pathogens from animals to humans.
