A woman, identified as Trisha Ragoonath, was found dead at the law firm where she works on Friday night.
Police reports say at around 11:20 pm, a report was made of a body being found inside Roopnarine and Company Law Chambers located at 9a Lord Street, San Fernando.
On arrival they found the 39 year old woman, who was the secretary for the firm.
Police were told by one of the attorneys that Ragoonath was last seen doing paper work at around 3:30 pm.
Her fiance and sister attempted to communicate with her after 3:30pm up until late last evening.
When they received no responses they checked her workplace and upon their arrival at 10:50pm they observed her vehicle parked in the car park.
They forced entry into the office and found Ragoonath’s body on the ground.
Investigators say the body bore no visible marks of violence.
