Labourer charged for the murder of a make up artist

A 23 year-old Labourer charged for the murder of Justine Davis appeared before the Port of Spain Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 2nd October.

Brandon Harry aka ‘Rambo’ of Upper L’anse Mitan Road, Carenage, was arrested at his home, on Thursday 26th September, by investigators attached to the Homicide Bureau of Investigations – Region 1.

He was subsequently charged for the offence of murder and possession of firearm and ammunition and wounding with intent following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC on Tuesday 1st October.

The victim, Ms. Davis, a 24 year-old Make Up Artist of Petit Valley, was at home on Sunday on 14th July, 2019 with an adult male, when five armed men entered the premises and fired several shots at the victim and the adult male. The victim died on the scene and the adult male was wounded.

Charges were laid by Sgt Roger Reyes, of the Woodbrook Police Station, while investigations were supervised by Insp. (Ag.) Glenn Persad, with assistance from W/Sgt. Bacchus, and Sgt. Ashley Mongroo.
