Kamla Persad-Bissessar declared an early victory in the United National Congress December 6th internal elections.
Persad-Bissessar this evening announced that while votes are still being tallied at various voting stations, the ‘Star Team’ has won the political party’s internal elections.
She said “results are very slow in coming, however the results so far clearly shows favour for the ‘Star Team’.”
There has been no official word on a total tally of votes to show who has won the UNC internal elections.
