Organizers of the Mash Night concert in Guyana featuring Trinibad artiste Kman-6ixx were forced to cancel the show after “ the authorities” sudden move to blacklist the artiste from entering Guyana.
Reports are that the organizers received a telephone call Friday morning informing them of the decision to black list Kashif Alexander Sankar, well known as Kman-6ixx .
The police claim to have gathered intelligence to suggest that there is the likelihood of a hit on the life of the singer and that “ they don’t want that to happen in Guyana”.
The Trinibad singer was taken off the flight at Piarco airport.
According to reports, the organizers say that perhaps, they should have been informed before they had approached the relevant authorities, including the Guyana Police Force for permission to host the show.
Kman 6xxx performed in Guyana twice in 2023.
