Jamie Foxx is said to be improving following news earlier this week from his daughter that he was recovering from a medical complication.
The actor/musician is communicating again after he was hospitalized for a “medical emergency” Tuesday morning, a representative said Wednesday.
The Day Shift actor’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, informed fans of his health condition on Wednesday when she said that he sustained a medical complication the day before. However, she did not disclose what kind.
Fans suspect Foxx suffered a cardiac arrest.
‘We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” Corinne, 29, stated in a statement written on behalf of the Foxx family.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers,” the statement reads. “The family asks for privacy during this time.”
Foxx is currently filming his latest movie, Netflix’s Back in Action.
But production was halted on Wednesday and resumed Thursday with a stand-in.
