Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyers made a court filing on Wednesday, pleading that the judge gives their client a lighter sentence ahead of her upcoming court date after being found guilty of five federal charges, including sex trafficking of a minor and three counts of conspiracy.
Ahead of her June 28 sentencing, the British socialite is said to have received numerous death threats from a fellow cellmate.

Court documents obtained by Radar Online reveal how the unnamed person had said they were offered money to kill Ghislaine for an undisclosed amount of money, bragged about the offer to other cellmates, and explored ways in which they would plan to murder her, including the act of strangulation.
