One person is dead and two others were injured in a shooting at a church in the Birmingham, Alabama, area on Thursday, police said.
The suspect in the shooting at the St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Vestavia Hills is in custody, police said.
The FBI and U.S. Marshals Service were among several federal and local agencies assisting in the investigation.
