National Security Expert Garvin Heerah says a proper response to crime is needed to combat the severe criminal activity that has taken hold of Trinidad and Tobago.
He told the Power Breakfast Show this morning that a complete and united approach is necessary and it must be done right now.
He lamented the fact that citizens seem to be getting more and more numb to violent criminal activity because of how frequently it occurs.
He said there must be a more aggressive approach to crime fighting.
He insisted that as it stands now gang leaders are being made to feel that they have been allowed to be in charge and this cannot continue.
