The Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, has tested positive for COVID-19 this morning.
A media release issued by the Ministry states that the Minister’s first positive test since the pandemic began in 2020.
Minister Deyalsingh is currently exhibiting mild flu-like symptoms and will remain at home in isolation in accordance with the national COVID-19 protocols.
Minister Deyalsingh is expected to continue to perform his official duties from home.
