The Government does not intend to dismantle the Couva Hospital and Multi -Training facility at this time.
Since 2020, the hospital was utilised as one of the facilities designated for dealing with Covid-19 cases.
Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, provided the update in the parliament today following the World Health Organisation’s May 5th declaration of the end of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Responding to a question from the Member of Parliament for Cumuto Manzanilla Wednesday, Mr Deyalsingh said the Couva hospital will be continue to be used.
