Police are currently conducting inquiries into the shootings deaths of two men in separate incidents in Arima during the early hours of Saturday morning.
Around 1am, residents of Dump Road, Arima heard a series of gunshots and on later investigation, found 20-year-old Justin Pereira’s lifeless body. He had multiple bullet wounds.
Then, at around 4:45am, 25-year old Josiah James of Mt Zion Road, Arima, was found with gunshot wounds along the Eastern Main Road, Maturita, Arima.
He was transported to the Arima Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
