A Hazardous Seas Alert is now in effect.
According to the TT Meteorological Service (TTMS), the yellow-level alert runs until December 23rd, 2023 at 8am.
Met says: North-northeasterly long period swells are expected to affect the northern and north-eastern near-shore coastal areas of Trinidad and Tobago.
All marine interests are being advised to monitor near-shore/coastal sea conditions and exercise caution along affected areas especially at high tides.
