‘Hard Lash’ held for cocaine possession in Carenage

A man with the alias ‘Hard Lash’ was arrested during an anti crime exercise in the Carenage district on Saturday 9th January, 2021.
This exercise was held by officers attached to the Western Division Task Force between 2pm and 6pm.

The lawmen whilst on mobile patrol along Western Main Road, Carenage had caused to stop and search Victor Mills alias “Hard Lash” of Abbe Poujade Street, Carenage and found 17 grams of cocaine on his person. He was subsequently arrested and charged for the offence Possession of Cocaine for the purpose of Trafficking.

The said officers later received certain information and as a result proceeded to a football field next to the Point Cumana Government Primary School where they found a black plastic bag containing a JENNINGS 9mm Pistol loaded with four rounds of 9mm ammunition.

No one was arrested and enquires are continuing.

This exercise was coordinated by Senior Superintendent(Ag) Thompson & included PC Genty, PC Sahadath & PC Rogers.
