Griffith: Some media houses defending Rowley’s arrogance in crime talks issue

Head of the NTA and Former Police Commissioner Gary Griffith is condemning some media houses who he says have criticised the UNC for his inclusion in crime talks between the Opposition and the Government.

Speaking on the Power Breakfast Show this morning he said it was incredulous that anyone would hold this view point.

He said he was disgusted that persons felt that he should be left out because of Dr Rowley’s arrogance in his refusal to deal with Griffith.

He stated that articles in the media stated that Dr Rowley’s feelings on the matter should have taken precedence over what is right for the country.

He said since the beginning the Government has continued to shift the goalpost.

He insisted that there was no reason that he could not have been included in the crime talks save for Dr Rowley’s bias.
