Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, says the government is in a position to pay for COVID-19 vaccines that is made available to Trinidad and Tobago.
The Finance Minister gave the assurance while contributing to a Private Motion: reconsider borrowing policy and outline plans to fulfill debt servicing obligations in the Senate this afternoon.
Minister Imbert said the Ministry of Finance continues to provide the necessary funding to the Ministry of Health especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
