Reports circulating on social media regarding the alleged detention of the Minister of Education, Anthony Garcia’s grandson have been confirmed by IzzSo Media.
According to police reports 19 year old Damani Garcia was charged for the possession of .65 grams of marijuana by members of the police service.
Garcia was held during a police anti-crime exercise in Bon Air Gardens this afternoon.
He was later discharged.
IzzSo media contacted the Education Minister to verify the information being circulated by on social media; which he confirmed were true.
No further comment on then matter was made.
Police investigations are ongoing.
