Legal action will be taken against the National Security Council by former Commissioner of Police, Gary Griffith.
The Council is led by Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley.
Mr Griffith’s Attorney, Larry Lalla, claims has client was not given a fair hearing in the allegations of corruption in the issuance of firearm users license.
Mr Lalla made the comment while speaking at a news briefing Tuesday morning.
Mr Lalla said he filed for judicial review on behalf of his client last Thursday.
Mr Lalla itemized the various factors which were taken into account and brought the situation to the fore front.
Mr Lalla said another area Mr Griffith is seeking attention, is the issue regarding the reapplication for the post of Commissioner of Police.
