Food Security High On Business Community’s Budget Wish List

The business community in its budget wish list is asking for special emphasis to be placed by the government in Monday’s national budget on food security, crime,  digitisation and technology, and small and medium-sized enterprises, cultural and creative industries, youth and children.

The Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce  is also asking for attention to be given to retail and distribution, hospitality, manufacturing, energy, agriculture.

It is suggesting improvement be made in the ease of doing business for local companies, as well as attracting regional and international investments.
