The English Premier League football season kicks off today as Manchester City and Arsenal face each other in the Community Shield.
The traditional season curtain-raiser sees last year treble winning champions City face league runners-up Arsenal.
The Community Shield usually sees the previous season’s League winner and FA Cup winner face each other,
However City won both last season as well as the Champions League.
In situations such as these, the winner will instead face the league runner-up in the season opening matchup.
Arsenal will be determined to prove they can once again challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title with a good showing in this match.
The game will be played at England’s Wembley stadium and kicks off at 11AM.
