Police are searching for the lone bandit who robbed a 75-year-old man of $60,000, mere minutes after he left a bank in San Fernando.
The incident took place on Thursday around 1:40pm.
The elderly man reported that he withdrew the money from Republic Bank at Cipero Street and walked to his vehicle which was parked at an empty lot across the road from the bank.
The man said on reaching his vehicle, he was approached by a man wearing dark clothing and a ski mask.
The suspect pointed a gun at him and announced a hold. He then took the elderly man’s money and ran along Medine Street.
