An elderly man was reportedly robbed of his vehicle and beaten to death during a home invasion in Cunupia on Thursday night.
The incident took place at David Toby Road, Chin Chin, Cunupia.
Unconfirmed reports state that armed men entered the home of 65-year-old Deo Seetahal and announced a robbery.
It is alleged that there was an altercation with the bandits and the man was shot. The suspects then made off with the man’s vehicle.
Investigations are currently underway.
