The East Port of Spain Development Company Limited is assisting over 1,000 East Port of Spain primary and secondary school children with back-to-school supplies for the new academic year.
The back-to-school initiative aims to reduce the financial burden faced by families in preparing children for a new school year and ensure that every child has access to necessary school supplies.
With the support of several non-governmental organisations, community-based organisations, faith-based organisations and community working groups, EPOS was able to identify families in need and reach out to provide assistance with basic school items.
Distribution commenced on August 11th.
Beneficiaries received supplies including backpacks, stationery, water bottles and other school supplies.
