An early morning shooting in Malick on Wednesday has left a 17-year-old girl and a 25-year-old man nursing injuries.

Around 1:38am, the teen and the man were liming outside a relative’s house at Upper Sixth Avenue, Malick, when they saw two gunmen walking through an open parcel of land nearby.

The gunmen shot the girl and man before running away.

They were rushed to hospital where the girl was treated for gunshots to her left leg and buttocks while the man was treated for a gunshot wound to his right leg.

Both were in stable condition up to Wednesday morning.
