Operation Sea Breeze, an anti-crime exercise conducted in the South Western Division, resulted in the seizure of a firearm and ammunition this morning.
Between 5 am and 8 am on Friday 19th February, 2021, officers of the South Western Divisional Task Force conducted several searches in the Santa Flora district.
During the exercise, the officers found and seized one .380 pistol with a magazine with two rounds of ammunition hidden in the pavilion of the Santa Flora Recreation Ground.
PC Baldwin is continuing investigations.
