An early morning shooting in La Horquetta has left a 24-year-old man nursing gunshot wounds.
The victim, who hails from La Horquetta, was standing in a yard at the Corner of Eric Roach in Phase Seven, La Horquetta, at around 3.45 am when he was confronted by two gunmen who shot him several times before running away.
Residents heard the gunshots and called the police.
Officers from the Northern Division Task Force Area South and La Horquetta Police visited the area and took the wounded man to the Arima Hospital.
La Horquetta CID officers are continuing enquiries.
