Be aware of your surroundings, habits and activities especially when it comes to intimacy going into the carnival season.
The advice came from sexologist, Dr Raj Ramnanan, as he focused on sexuality during the Programme Sex Explosion on Power 102 Digital on Friday.
Dr Ramnanan said there is a cost for the country when people fail to adhere to the adage prevention is better than cure.
He said his role is to educate the public and ensure the protection of individuals, and get the message across.
