Lessons learnt from Covid-19 should result in policies and practises being put in place which will result in this country being better positioned to deal with future pandemic that may arise.
This was the view of Independent Senator, Varma Delaysingh, as he contributed to the motion on government’s management of the pandemic debated in the Senate today.
Mr Delaysingh said this issue should not be turned into a political one but aimed at the challenges which came up and how to tackle them in a better way.
Mr Delaysingh spent some time looking at findings which came out of Britain’s commission of enquiry on the virus which started on August 22nd this year.
