Government defends its response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Minister of Health, Terrence Deyalsingh, explains focus was placed on training of medical and non-medical staff, mental health initiatives, the setting up of long covid service and ensuring universal access for all citizens.
Mr Deyalsingh said the ruling administration ensured an equitable handling of the development.
Minister Deyalsingh also addressed concerns from Opposition Senator, David Nakhid, who raised the motion on whether the government met international standards responding to Covid-19 care.
