Two suspects are currently in police custody, after they were arrested yesterday in connection with the murder of Alex Cooper, 22, which occurred in Scarborough, Tobago on April 9th, 2023.
Officers of the Tobago Division Task Force acted on information, then proceeded to a residence in Scarborough, where they arrested a man and his girlfriend for the Tobago homicide.
Enquiries are continuing.
Cooper, who was originally from Moruga, Trinidad, was found with gunshot wounds sometime after residents of Logwood Park, Scarborough reported hearing gunshots in the area around 6:30am.
Cooper is Tobago’s second murder for the year thus far.
