Acting Police Commissioner Mc Donald Jacobs says there is an increase in female gang related killings.
He made the comment while speaking on Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show.
Commissioner Jacobs claimed that in the past year or two, the number of women being killed in murders classified as gang related is up approximately 200 percent.
This he said points to gangs now violating a previously unspoken rule that female relatives of gang members are off limits.
He also noted that there is an increase in the number of minors being involved in gangs.
