Former Minister of Finance, Karen Nunez Tesheria, is assuring the population she remains focused on addressing serious issues affecting the citizenry.
Mrs Nunez Tesheria has indicated she will challenge, for the post of Political Leader of the People’s National Movement, Dr Keith Rowely, in the December 4th internal election.
Speaking on the Afternoon Drive on Power 102 Digital on Monday, Mrs Nunez Tesheria said giving people the ability to empower themselves will be high on her agenda.
Mrs Nunez Tesheria said the hardship endured by many citizens underscored the need for trivial matters; petty politics and the blame game to be side-lined for the greater interest of the country.
She also called on politicians to lead by example and show they are connected to the struggle of the population.
