A condolence book for former Prime Minister Basdeo Panday will open to members of the public in the Rotunda Gallery of the Parliament from 1pm today.
According to a release, persons can access the book during the following times:
Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday, January 5, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and
Monday, January 8, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
While there is no strict dress code the public is asked to dress modestly to honour the period of mourning.
President Christine Kangaloo was the first to sign the book on Wedensday.
